Installing a Terminal Emulator on Windows

Open Tera Term's site (https://ttssh2.osdn.jp/index.html.en) in a new tab. Find the section of the page entitled “Download”. Select the “download page”. Then select the newest version exe installer.

Find the installer in the folder that it was downloaded to, double-click on it, then selectRun.

Accept the agreement and then left-clickNext.

3.

Select where you want Tera Term installed and then left-clickNext.

4.

Select the components to be installed. For beginners select标准安装.

5.

Choose the desired language and then left-clickNext.

6.

Select if you have a short cut in the start menu and then left-clickNext.

7.

Select the desired short cuts and then left-clickNext.

8.

Left-click onInstall.

9.

Left-click onFinish

After going through steps 1-9 Tera Term is now installed on Windows. To use Tera Term click *Using a Terminal Emulator on Windows
